Spring 2019

We have two exciting events coming up this Spring, both around our Tenney Distinguished Speaker Series:

February 5-9, 2019:  Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Buckminister Fuller's Operating Manual for Spaceship Earth legacy: David McConville, a media artist, researcher, and educator who serves as the chairman of the Buckminister Fuller Institute and is co-founder of Spherical, an integrative design and research studio based in Oakland, CA will give the keynote on February 5th, Student Center Auditorium at 7PM.  There are workshops, tours to the Dome and many other presentations.  This is brought you in collaboration with The College of Mass Communications and Media Arts, Morris University Library, Sustainability Studies, School of Architecture, and two RSOs—Sense and the Honors Assembly. April 28-May 4Julius Caesar.  In conjunction with SIUC's Theater Department's production of Julius Caesar, Professor Avrahm Oz will deliver the keynote address.  This event is mounted in collaboration with the Departments of English, Cinema and Photography, Languages, Culture and International Trade and the Classics Club
